After a bit of a protracted wait, we finally got all the details we needed to send last years funds over to V Glob, the community-building project in Nyitoe, Togo - West Africa. The money is being put toward the renovation of the villages' health centre and with the help of a Belgium engineer the village has just bought materials and tools to rebuild the roof, paint the walls, and install a toilet and shower. The building still requires more funds to complete but as Fola, our contact with VGlob told us, it will be immediately put to use as a clean, insect free place for the women to give birth. Work was due to start on 10th of this month so we will deploy our roving International reporter Monsieur Kleebauer to get you all an update for Autumns newsletter. Fola sends his thanks to everyone at OPS – Nice one guys n gals.
